Hi All,

Anush
I cum frm a small town in India, Pondicherry. Childhood was the most I enjoy’d in my life….hope it cums bk again….but now I don’t regret cos I am seeing my childhood thru my son Anush who came into this world on Sep 29th 2007 just the nxt dy of my b’dy as my b’dy gift. Can u guys imagine? no other gift can be better than this!! I bet ya!!
I remember my Dad’s words, he always used to say I’m the Jack….not gettin it right!!…means he refers me to the Jack in the sayin “Jack of all trades and master of nothin” cos I always liked to paint, sketch, doin crafts, gardening, cookin n lot many other things like classic dance (Bharathnaatiyum), singing, veena etc., but didn’t professionalise in any. I still sometimes think about his words, I feel like laughing.
To say about my mom she is the most wonderful woman in this world and she is the best example of a gr8 mom. She is very hardworkin and gives her best all the time.
When I think why did I start my own blog…first of all it made me realize that I needed an inspiration right? This inspiration was from my love n my soul mate – my husband Shoj. Though I had lot of interests in arts n other things from my childhood, Shoj was the person who actually made me realize that I can develop it and make it as a real hobby. Shoj appreciated me all thru my art work n cookin b4 in B’lore n after comin to US in 2006. So that is wat inspired me to start a blog of my own.

Me, Shoj and Anush
I always wanted to learn Oil painting but never got chance. After Anush was born, One day I had been to Michaels and learnt frm them that they do conduct oil painting classes for beginners. I asked Shoj n he too encouraged me to go n attend the class n durin that time he would take care of Anush. So, that is how I started to learn.
My teacher, Sally Rende, is a certified Bob Ross Painting Instructor. She is such an artist who has loads of patience, passion and love towards teachin n doin her paintings. She was another inspiration that took my intrest a step further. Totally I learnt 4 or 5 paintings from her. Later we had to move to another city and I could not attend her painting classes. So Shoj, inspired me to take time and paint at home and practice and that is how I started to paint at home.
I hope this journey of improving my hobby would continue all thru my life……………….and am sure abt that cos Shoj would always encourage and appreciate me!!
